1. Introduction

TEOS Manage, the core platform powering TEOS, gives organizations the power to transform their workplace so that device management is streamlined, usage of space is optimized, energy costs are reduced, communication is targeted, and worker productivity is amplified.

2. Requirements

If you want to install TEOS on your Samsung display, you need to meet the following requirements:

- Have TEOS version 3.5.0 or higher
- A display running Tizen
- Recommended minimum space: 4GB
- Recommended memory: 2GB
- Wi-Fi or cable internet connection*

* A cable connection is recommended for displaying Full HD or higher resolution content.

3. How to install the TEOS Tizen player

After running the default configuration, the screen will be set to use Magic Info. We need to change this to ‘URL Launcher’. To do this switch on your Tizen device and press the menu button. In the menu navigate to the System options.
In the settings menu navigate to “Play via” and select URL Launcher. We are now able to configure the TDM App. Press the back button until you are back to the normal input screen.
The Tizen displays requires to download an app through an ‘URL Launcher’. To enter this URL, press the home button. In this menu you should be able to see the option: “AppManagement”. Open this option.
A web URL needs to be filled out so the display knows where to download the application. The URL for the application depends on your environment, you can find the URL in your TEOS portal at:
Server Management > App Management > Tizen/Tizen-compat
Enter the corresponding URL at the ‘Install Custom App’ field and select OK.
As soon as you have done so, the display will start downloading and installing the app. Once the app is installed the start screen will appear. This shows the QR code or an option to enter the connection code from TEOS.
