Description

TEOS Manage and IIS will collect logging regarding the requests to the web applications and the commands which will be send from TEOS to your devices, a new log will be created every day.

This means that after a period of time the logs could be using quite some disk space, with the LogCleaner logs older than 7 days will be removed automatically.

Requirements

• Access to the TEOS Manage server with admin rights

How to install the LogCleaner

1. Install the “TEOS LogCleaner.exe” on the server.
   Located at the bottom of the page "TEOS LogCleaner v1.0.1.zip"
   
    
2. Once you have downloaded the LogCleaner you can run the installer on your server, once then setup is executed a pop-up will be shown. Fill out your administrator account name together with the password, afterwards press “OK”.
   
    
3. The installer will create TEOS LogCleaner in Program Files with in their tasks to run and logs on what it cleaned, after this has been done the installer will create a scheduled task which will execute the cleaner daily at 01:00 AM.
   
    
4. Once the task has been executed two log files will be generated, one for IIS and one for the backbone. These log files contains the removed files from both IIS and TEOS Manage.
   
    
5. You have now successfully installed the TEOS LogCleaner.
