Description
This guide explains how to setup a ProDVX device for TEOS, guide includes application installation as well as default configuration.
Guide will be based on the ProDVX using android 13, settings may differ.
Requirements
• A ProDVX device.
• A USB stick or network connection to the device.

Using TEOS on a ProDVX devices requires ADB to be enabled on the device.

Installing applications
Installing applications on the device can be done in 2 different ways:
• A USB stick with the desired applications
• Using ADB (Network protocol)
USB
1. Place the desired applications in the root of the USB stick.
2. Insert the USB stick into the ProDVX device.
3. Select an application to open the files on the device.
4. Locate the USB stick and open it.
5. Click and run the desired applications.

Settings
Certain settings need to be configured on the device to ensure optimal performance.
Apps
1. Under “Apps” navigate to “Special app access”.
2. Once here select “Device admin apps” and active TEOS Control as device admin.
On older devices this setting can also be located under “Security”.
3. Go back and select “Display over other apps”, enable this for the TEOS Applications.
4. On Android 13 a permission called “Turn screen on” is available, turn this on for the TEOS.
System
1. Under system, check the date and time settings and make sure these are set correctly.
2. Navigate to “Digital signage options” and turn on the “ProDVX API”.
The device is now setup and ready for use with TEOS.
